LauPre Quick Cashmere Knee Sock Recon

LauPre Quick Cashmere Knee Sock Recon

So in love with these socks. Look closely, they are long and soft and luxurious like a pair of cashmere socks should be.

However, they are totally green and cheap, which makes this perfect for me! These socks were made from a thrift store sweater and sewn quickly on a sewing machine, though I am positive that you could hand sew them, (I still haven't learned to sew :( ) Follow the link to an awesome tutorial on LauPre's blog. I don't know that if I have said it before, but being green should not have be expensive by any means.

This proves my point, perfectly.

Getting (re)Started

I have been saying for the last year that I need to get the blog back up and running, and for a while now, I have been waiting for my sister to help me. I have been using this as an excuse to not to get to work on this.

Because of my slacking, I have missed out on several cool opportunities to blog about. The most recent one was the Green Long Beach Festival. It was May 22nd, 2010, and I was the event organizer. It would have been pretty cool to show the work and progression over the months, but I was being a lazy ass.

I will do a blog or several about what was there and have links to different sites of people that contributed.

Now that I have another post done. I am going to lay my butt back down and go to sleep, since I got 3 hours of sleep last night!
